Le Coin de Manon
The villa, Le Coin de Manon, is a stunning Provençal holiday home built to blend in with the rural French landscape of poplars, olive trees and vineyards.
The villa sleeps eight people and is available to rent throughout the year. This home is the perfect spot for family holidays no matter the time of year. Just inland on the Côte D'Azur, it is said that this area of Provence sees 300 days of sunshine annually, so whatever the month, visitors will marvel at the panoramic views over the vineyards to the breathtaking countryside beyond.
With an open-plan living space, different outdoor entertainment areas, a large veranda, pool area, boules court and BBQ, there is plenty of space to relax, dine and play with a view of Le Castellet on the escarpment before you. The ochre walls, green shutters, French doors and terracotta floors all provide a traditional feel to the house and even though the building and surrounding gardens are relatively new, there's a sense that this place has always been here, nestled among the lavender and beeblossom.
The kitchen & living area
The spacious design of the central living area of the villa welcomes you in through French doors on either side. A relaxed space to lounge, cook and dine, this is the heart of the house and where guests can flop on a sofa with one of the many books on the shelves or challenge their friends to a game of Scrabble or Pictionary from the cupboard. The kitchen is small but well-equipped with a kettle, toaster, juicer, cafetieres, microwave and so on. And with the sensational view from the kitchen sink across the lavender to the landscape beyond, you'll prefer to do the washing up by hand than use the dishwasher underneath.
With an en-suite master bedroom, a second double bedroom and twin bedroom on the ground floor as well as another en-suite bedroom downstairs, the villa sleeps eight people but with two single sofa beds upstairs on the mezzanine floor, groups of up to ten can stay here comfortably. There is a separate bathroom that serves Bedroom 2 and 3 on the ground floor as well as those guests who have come to visit.
The 10-metre swimming pool at Le Coin de Manon is set apart from the main house and has its own dining area that can seat up to 20 people underneath a pergola and cooling canopy of wisteria. There is also a BBQ area, chill out space, separate kitchen and toilet. With six pool beds and mattresses, the whole family can hang out around the pool throughout the day.
Breathe in the scent of lavender, take a dip in the cool waters of the pool and be at ease among Provence's signature sound of cicadas. This is a place designed to welcome families from all over the world to enjoy this beautiful part of the Mediterranean.
